The Grand: shops and daily needs
The community's own mall, The Grand, began a phased opening on 19 August 2026. It is anchored by the first Waitrose in Nad Al Sheba and was described as fully leased. [Zawya, Jul 2026] [Arabian Post, Aug 2026]
- Opening phase: Waitrose, MMI, Heart Cottage Lane, Maple Bear Nursery, Al Jaber Optical and Fixperts.
- From September 2026: cafes and restaurants including Tashas, Kokoro and Blu Pizzeria, plus Staywell Pharmacy and Tips & Toes.

Parks, the lagoon and things to do
Meraas lists Central Park and Spine Park with water features, a children's play zone, access to the lagoons, walkable streets, cycling and running tracks, a multi-sports court, a wave pool, a yoga lawn and a neighbourhood farm. Schools

Getting around
The developer and press describe the community as about 10 minutes from Downtown Dubai, with access to DIFC, Business Bay, Meydan and Dubai International Airport. Which phases are ready, and which are still being built
Phases 2 and 3 are the established, lived-in part of the community. Phase 4 was due for completion in the first quarter of 2027 when its construction contract was awarded, [Dubai Holding, May 2025] and Phase 7 by the second quarter of 2028.
